House Rules for our Burlesque Shows

In an intimate environment where the audience is part of the act, it helps to know how to behave during a burlesque show. When you’re surrounded by feathers, velvet, and sequins, you want to have fun without getting carried away. We wanted to share what is considered proper etiquette at our burlesque shows.

Be Enthusiastic

Performers live for the applause, so they encourage the audience to cheer, clap, and whistle during the show. The more interactive and fun you are, the sexier the show.

Respect the Performers

Be respectful of the performers. Loud, inappropriate comments are never tolerated. Performers may touch you throughout the show.

Return Costume Pieces

If a costume piece should happen to lad on or near you, we do invite you to try it on for a fun moment, but ask that you return it upon completion of the act.

Tipping

Gratuity is never required but always appreciated: stick in those dollar bills when you see something you like. It’s a great way to show your enjoyment and participate in the evening.

Outside Food/Beverage

Please refrain from bringing any outside food or drinks into the venue. We offer a delicious selection of cocktails, wine, beer, and small plates for your enjoyment.

Look Sharp

Burlesque shows are often glamorous events, so attendees are asked to dress nicely as well.

Take the Pictures

Burlesque shows are full of exciting dance numbers, so you are welcome to take photos and videos during the performance. Our performers often stick around for pictures after the show. Just ask!

Age Restriction:

Our burlesque shows are intended for mature audiences only. Guests must be 21 years or older with valid identification to enter.

Refund Policy

Burlesque Show tickets are non-refundable. If something happens and you are not able to attend, please try to gift or resell the tickets on your own. Just email hillary@argonautbar.com and let us know the names the tickets are getting transferred to and from. If you are unsuccessful reselling/gifting them, we would be your last resort to try to fill the table. Please let us know as we do not like to have empty seats for any of the shows. The earlier this communications occurs, the better.
